I did my first Unity Brewing open mic on July 15, 2020. Since then I have done 149 open mics at Unity (and 126 at Speal's Tavern). As I approach my third year doing this, I've decided to take a break to focus on getting more weekday gigs. The open mics have been absolutely great to me, and I am very grateful to Unity Brewing for providing this opportunity that benefited me so much. And the success we've had is because of the quality of performers that consistently attend. Unfortunately, I am just reaching my limit on the two weekly open mics. June 20 and June 27 will be my last Tuesdays as your host at Unity Brewing. I will keep doing the weekly Speal's Tavern Thursday nights and revisit my options as I get closer to that three year anniversary as well.
