The rest of the songs were written since my return from Nashville in 2018, namely the

"On Holiday" features a wide-angle look into the last several years of my songwriting portfolio. "Take Me Back", "Sailed Out Too Far", "There's A Fountain", and "Circles" were previously released and unreleased under the name Alec Henderson Band in 2015 and 2016. The rest of the songs were written since my return from Nashville in 2018, namely the title track "On Holiday". The first four songs were recorded in Mr Smalls Recording Studio in Pittsburgh, PA, and the rest were recorded in my bedroom in Greensburg, PA. Featuring Dane Whatule on the drums on all tracks except 6 and 10. Undoubtedly this was produced in the spirit of rock and roll and blues, but at the heart of this album is traditional acoustic roots and soft landscapes. The theme of "On Holiday" is our human need for our humans - you can have great ambitions and achieve great things but truly, all you need is love.

"Songs From Tennessee" is a lo-fi EP of catchy acoustic ballads and folk songs that were written and recorded in a very short amount of time. I went to a friend's house and recorded all the songs on a laptop in about 3 hours. This EP captures a raw feeling of emotion within the songwriting that will appeal to fans of the DIY/indie scene. It was
